Label info: Lead cut 'Deadman' is an anthem of a track in a time when anthems are few and far between. Rising, Detroit keys layer up with rich strings atop a warm, organic drum track creating a fluid deep houser which is head and shoulders above the crowd. 'Beauty And The Beast' occupies the b-side in both Dub and Vocal form. Both are low slung, mid-tempo and percussive with a charcterful and aurally pleasing FM synth riff driving the track along while (in Vocal form) Solomun betrays his Croatian roots with a superb Croatian female vocal. The Dub shortens things but still retains the all important groove.....Voices Tip !!!!
